Not what I ordered, (What's this?) The product was labled as an LG DVD ROM Drive. It was not an LG Drive but a rebadged LG drive made for Hewlett Packard. If I wanted a HP drive I would have ordered it. The picture of the drive has the LG logo on it. This is not what I recieved and will be returning it to the business that I ordered it from. If you sell something as a specified product you should get what you ordered. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS SERVICE. Need I say more. I think you get the piont.
Err, I ordered this drive and recieved the GDR 8162B instead of the GDR 8164B. I guess it is not a big deal because it still did what it said it was going to do, but I still think you should get what your promised.
optical drive, (What's this?) some of the new optical drives are not suited for backing up game.
Great Customer Support, (What's this?) I ordered the LG GDR 8164B dvd drive, instead I received an Hitachi drive. The customer support emailed me, and have resolved the issue without any problems.
On a side note the drive does work without any problems and was made by LG (but is Hitachi branded).
In short I would recommend this seller in the future.
Does What It Is Suppose To, (What's this?) Reads photo disc very well. Just a plan old reader that plays my dvd movies.
